Notes from the road…
I’m not here to tell you how to succeed.
I’m here to document what it feels like to build something that doesn’t exist yet —the weight of uncertainty, the quiet wins, the moments when quitting seemed easier than continuing.
I’m Mario McKenzie — writer, entrepreneur, and student of the creative process. This page isn’t my résumé. It’s my reflection on how failure became my teacher, and how documenting the process became my way of making sense of it all.
Why I Write About the Process
My balance lives in the simple things — the sound of pen on paper, a morning workout, the quiet between thoughts.
Those moments remind me that progress isn’t a sprint. It’s rhythm, discipline, and grace for the days that don’t go as planned.
I used to believe stories were meant to be shared after success — after you’ve figured it out.
But I realized that the most honest chapters are written in the middle of the chaos.
That’s why I write — to capture the truth of building something before it’s beautiful,
and to remind others that there’s courage in the mess of becoming
The process is the story — everything else is a summary.
The Concept
The Concept I’m Building — Soulcraze
Soulcraze started as a creative blog exploring human emotion through dark poetry and storytelling.
Today, it’s evolving into a membership community — a world built from words, emotion, and shared experience.
Every post, podcast, and update here traces that journey — the messy, rewarding process of turning an idea into something real.
The Principles That Guide Me
Honesty Over Hype
Real stories matter more than curated ones. I share the truth of the process — even when it’s uncomfortable.
Growth Through Failure
Each setback carries a blueprint. I write to uncover the lessons hidden in the ruins.
Purpose in Progress
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep showing up.
The Wandering Entrepreneur
Some lessons need to be heard, not read. The Wandering Entrepreneur podcast is where I continue the conversation — exploring creativity, uncertainty, and what it means to find direction while you’re still lost.
Between the Lines
Keep Walking With Me
This isn’t a playbook — it’s a journey in progress. If something here resonates, stay connected.
Let’s learn, build, and reflect — together.
